Connect Facebook and Instagram

Contenter publishes to a Facebook Page and the Instagram professional account linked to it. Publishing to personal Facebook profiles is not supported by Meta.

  1. 1 Make sure your Instagram account is a Business or Creator account and is linked to your Facebook Page (Page settings → Linked accounts).
  2. 2 In Contenter, open your project settings and press "Connect Facebook & Instagram".
  3. 3 In the Meta window, allow access and select the Page (and its Instagram account) you want to publish to.
  4. 4 If you manage several Pages, choose the right one on the next screen.
  5. 5 You will return showing "Connected as <Page> + <@instagram>". Instagram posts always require an image.
